Our extremely dry weather has thankfully come to an end with significant rain today and tomorrow. Our springs were getting quite low but should now recover. We did not ride today because of the heavy rain but Teddy and Joker, Dee and Boots are ridden 4-5 days a week, both in the arena and out on the trails. The younger horses are becoming excellent trail horses. Able continues to be his "old reliable" self and enjoys our solitary trail rides even though the corn is now taller than both of us!

New foal photos
I have posted some recent photos of our foals born this year and some of our two year olds. Moms and babies are doing very well. The two years olds were started under saddle two weeks ago and are coming along nicely. They are now being ridden in the round pen with halter-bridles with snaffle bits suspended in their mouths. They have adjusted very well to the new tack and new surroundings of the round pen. They are all very quiet and trusting-a testament to their daily handling as youngsters.
